Christmas Interrupted

Whether intentional or unexpected, the holidays can be one of the busiest times of the year. A season intended for joy and peace can quickly become one filled with utter chaos and commotion. Trying to keep up with the pressures of the routine Christmas season often leaves us missing the extraordinary ways God wants to work through our ordinary days. In this series, we don’t want to miss the reality that the story of Christmas is one where God interrupts the ordinary to bring about the extraordinary. These well-known stories of this first Christmas reveal to us what happens when we catch the wind of the Spirit and allow every move of God in our lives to become a move toward God. As we step into these next few weeks together, we want to intentionally interrupt this season in our culture that often moves people toward distraction and selfishness with worship of the God who sources this season.
