Christi & Rachel met in a women’s Bible study and what started as casual conversations and prayer requests quickly grew into a close friendship. Their desire is for this to be a place where women come together to grow in their faith, encourage one another, and dig deeper into God’s Word. This is a safe space to be honest, share struggles, celebrate victories, and pray for one another. As Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” They believe God works powerfully through community, and He can use this time together to strengthen their faith and build lasting friendships.

Study of 1st Peter (women)
This 6-week class will explore the book of First Peter, a letter written by the apostle Peter to early Christians who were facing unjust suffering and living as scattered believers throughout Asia Minor. Through his words of encouragement, Peter calls us to stand firm in our faith, pursue a holy life, and anchor our hope in the resurrection of Jesus. Bring your Bible and a journal to take notes. Each week, your homework will include reading and studying one chapter of First Peter as we journey through all five chapters together. Class time will include teaching, as well as opportunities for small group discussion and reflection. We look forward to growing in faith and building our spiritual resilience together.

Free of Me (women)
In this video-driven Bible study by author and speaker Dr. Sharon Hodde Miller, we will confront the subtle dangers of a me-centered culture and a self-help-focused gospel. Based on her book Free of Me: Why Life Is Better When It’s Not About You, this study offers a Jesus-centered framework to help believers break free from the trap of constant self-focus—what Dr. Miller identifies as the root of anxiety, comparison, and deep insecurity. Through teaching, reflection, and discussion, we will discover the freedom that comes when we shift our focus away from ourselves and toward Jesus. This is a 6-week study with 5 weeks of homework.

The God you Need to Know (single moms)
In this 6-week study, you will discover 12 practices designed to awaken and deepen your relationship with the Holy Spirit. Through exploring the Spirit’s active presence in the Old Testament and the lives of biblical figures like Gideon, David, and Ezekiel, you will gain a greater understanding of His work and learn practical ways to grow in your faith. Through personal reflection activities and guided study, you will be encouraged to deepen your prayer life and cultivate a more intimate relationship with God. Our hope and prayer is that single moms will find a safe and welcoming space to study the Bible together, encourage one another in love, and build lasting community.

Minor Prophets (women)
Together, we will journey through seven of the Minor Prophets (Joel, Obadiah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Malachi) over the course of six weeks. These writings span three centuries and were delivered to specific nations during times of significant historical and spiritual upheaval. Through the pages of these often-overlooked books, we will discover God’s unfailing love, faithfulness, and continued pursuit of His people. Using a simple Bible study method, we will read, reread, and engage with the text by asking key questions: Who? What? Where? When? Why? How? And what do we learn about God from this passage? Together, we will uncover the timeless truths found in these prophetic writings and grow in our understanding of God’s character and heart for His people.

Discipling in a Manner Worthy (women)
In our first journey to discover what the Bible says about the work of the Holy Spirit, we learned that the surest way to recognize His presence and work in our lives is to look for His fruit—or the absence of it. God created fruit to “reproduce after its kind” (Genesis 1). During this two-part study, we will step into the lives of disciples throughout the Old Testament, the Gospels, and the Letters to discover what “its kind” looks like when lived out in us. Through the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit at work within us, may we become disciples of Jesus who “reproduce after its kind”—disciples who make disciples who make disciples until He returns. A homework book will be provided during the first week of class.

Study of the Torah (Women's Bible Study)
Tradition holds that in the 5th century, Ezra the scribe and the 120 elders of the Great Assembly created an annual reading schedule in which the Torah could be read in one year. They divided the Torah , the first 5 books of the Bible, into sections and read one each Sabbath. Our study is following the ancient Jewish tradition of reading and studying The Torah using the Parashah Cycle. August 6th we will resume our study with Exodus 10:1-13:16. Women's Group Led By Sharon Grizzle
Starting on September 17th, the book we will be starting with is ‘The Lie You Didn’t Know You Believe’ by Jennie Allen. If you are home during the day and would like to connect and build community with other ladies, this might be the group for you. You don’t have to read a book or come prepared (other than an open heart); we will watch a video and have a discussion afterward. Before we watch the video we will catch up with each other and see how we can encourage each other!

SW Women & The Word | Heaven | AM
Beginning Tuesday, August 25 | Heaven. Who goes there? Where is it? What will we do there? Questions like these arise when we consider an eternal future beyond this physical life. How can we know the truth about what comes next? In this 7-session video-based study, Jennifer Rothschild explores the subject of Heaven from a biblical perspective. She will separate what’s true about Heaven from what’s based on legend, media depictions, and hopeful guesses. As you walk through the study, you'll not only gain a deeper understanding of what God has prepared for His children but also learn how to live with confidence today as you look forward to the glorious unending that awaits. Don't just wonder about Heaven—embrace it with a faith that turns anticipation into excitement and peace.
