Grow, Gather & Go

Our Single Life Ministry exists to walk with single adults at Southeast as they embrace the life-giving freedom of the Gospel and a relationship with Jesus Christ. We are an equipping ministry, so our top goals are spiritual growth and spiritual health. This philosophy drives the focus of many of our environments. We also love to have fun, so we strive to see like-minded/aged single adults walking, serving, and doing life together. Through faithful, accountable community, we make a big place like Southeast feel small and connected.

In Single Life we focus on three phases of community life: Grow, Gather and Go.

Grow

The Grow phase is where we focus on spiritual health and growth. This phase includes our seasonal teaching series, which typically last three to four weeks at a time. This phase also includes other opportunities like growth tracks, prayer initiatives, and spiritual retreats.

Gather

The Gather phase is a celebration of our single adult population coming together for fun and engagement. Special social events, picnics, and community nights would fall under this category. We strive to make these events safe places for newcomers to come and see what God is doing in our ministry.

Go

When we say Go, we actually mean go. This is all about living on mission and equipping people to be released on mission. We do this through our Gather and Go community initiative, along with specific opportunities like evangelism-equipping sessions and neighboring initiatives to impact our city and the world around us.
If you join us at any of our events, you will likely experience a combination of these three phases.
